REVISED WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
ARTICLE 1 - WARRANTY COVERAGE
1.1 Duration:
- Frame/Motor: 24 months from purchase date
- Battery: 12 months
1.2 Eligible Claims:
✓ Manufacturing defects in structural components
✓ Electrical system failures under normal use
✗ Excludes: Consumables, Wear parts, cosmetic damage, saltwater corrosion
ARTICLE 2 - CLAIM PROCESS
2.1 Initiation Requirements:
(a) Submit the claim via email to Javabikenorthamerica@hotmail.com
within 7 business days of defect discovery
(b) Required Documentation:
- Dated purchase invoice with serial number
- Minimum 3 defect photographs (including macro shots)
2.2 Diagnostic Protocol:
(a) Technical review by certified engineers within 5 business days
(b) May require live video inspection via Microsoft Teams
ARTICLE 3 - REMEDY OPTIONS
3.1 Factory Direct Replacement:
(a) Components <2kg: Free replacement via UPS Ground®
(b) Core assemblies (motor/battery):
- Customer returns defective unit at own cost
3.2 Service Timeline:
- Parts shipment: 3-5 business days post-approval
- Major replacements: 10-15 business days
ARTICLE 4 - SHIPPING & PACKAGING
4.1 Return Shipping:
(a) Customer assumes full shipping costs unless:
✓ Factory assembly error confirmed
✓ Incorrect specifications shipped
4.2 Mandatory Packaging:
(a) Must use original manufacturer packaging or
(b) UPS-certified boxes with:
- Minimum 5cm cushioning material
4.3 Transit Damage Exclusion:
- Any damage occurring during return shipping voids warranty
- Recommend purchasing shipping insurance
ARTICLE 5 - WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS
5.1 Immediate Voidance If:
(a) Broken factory seal stickers
(b) Non-OEM parts installation
(c) Improper packaging per Article 4.2
ARTICLE 6 - INTERNATIONAL CLAIMS
6.1 Cross-Border Fees:
(a) Canada/USA: Full shipping costs
6.2 Compliance:
- Submit battery UN38.3 certification for international returns
